Sunday Scroll #70
2025 trends, learning to love weightlifting, how I add joy and structure to the new year, + the unexpected reason why it's hard to tame your spending habits
Happy Sunday, friends! (Can’t believe that’s the last time I’ll tell you that in 2024.) Tbh I’m still not sure what day it is. Since Christmas we’ve been sleeping in, snacking hard, spending lots of time in our PJs, and binge-watching the latest season of Queer Eye.
I love the rest I get between Christmas and New Year’s. At the same time, I also love planning a fresh start for the year ahead. You too? Last year I wrote allll about how I plan for the new year, and it still holds up. Check out that post if you want to learn how I look back, plan ahead, and add structure and joy to our days (including lots of free printables!!).
In the meantime, let’s scroll for a bit!
Pinterest predicts 2025 trends. Cherry everything. A revival of luxe Rococo design. Castlecore. Fisherman aesthetic. 2025 is going to be… interesting!
Do you lie about your spending habits? Come for the headline, stay for the discussion on dopamine culture. Because boy, do I love to hit Add to Cart when I’m avoiding hard feelings.
Apples have never tasted so delicious. Here’s why. Honeycrisp apples for life!
I want to be less likable. This essay is so thought provoking. What happens when we trade our own comfort for someone else’s? Is it possible to honor someone else’s needs—and our own?
