Sunday Scroll #58
Low-key fall checklist, audiobook + travel set recs, and of course Jennifer Garner's home is the coziest
Happy Sunday, friends, and welcome to October! Are the leaves aglow in reds and yellows and oranges in your neck of the woods yet? The weather’s starting to cool off a bit down in Pensacola. I’m beyond ready for sweater weather!
🇺🇸 Patriotic PSA: make sure you’re registered to vote! We’re starting to get close to the cutoff dates for different states, so just wanted to put a little reminder in front of you. Now’s the time! (Not sure if you’re registered? It’s easy to find out what your registration status is!)
25 little ways to have a better relationship with your phone. #2 sounds like a super weird suggestion, but trust me, it actually works! Which of these have you tried?
A new cookbook (my kind of cookbook!) by NYT Cooking. Do you know what’s for dinner tonight? For busy people that crave quick yet flavor-packed dishes, New York Times Cooking makes meal planning easy. Their new cookbook, Easy Weeknight Dinners, collects 100 favorite recipes that come together in less than an hour—and most importantly, taste delicious. (Sign me up!)
It’s soup season—time for Instant Pot Lemon Chicken Potato Soup! We eat this delicious soup every year since Bri McKoy put up the recipe. It’s SO easy and SO good! Top each bowl with lots of Parmesan cheese, and thank me later.
This thriller audiobook gets four stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tbh there are A LOT of characters to keep track of, but the story is great. Kept my attention!
Of COURSE Jennifer Garner’s home is the coziest! I didn’t know I could love her more. Her cozy library/TV room! The way she feels about chocolate chips! The slumber-party bunk room for kids! Her little reading nook with the stained-glass window that reminds her of springtime in West Virginia?! She is a national treasure.
This is the travel set I splurged on when I finished the cookbook. And I wish I didn’t love it as much as I do. 😬 BUT I DO. I got it in black and love it.
Inviting ease into our Mondays. Because sometimes it’s hard to set a good tone for the week ahead.
Have you seen The Perfect Couple yet? Wondering if I should add it to my To Watch list . . .
Set up a study space your kids will actually use. Bookmarking this!
A very low-key fall checklist. CoJ coming through with some great clothes, books, TV, and activity suggestions for us.
When you see the first leaf change color. This is 100% my energy! 🤣
That’s it from me! Hope you have a wonderful week!

The Lemon Chicken Potato soup is A+++++! Seriously so good. If you want to switch it up, swap the potatoes for tortellini. Delicious!
Absolutely watch The Perfect Couple AND read the book!!
