The new AG girls are AWFUL! I agree with Kelly H, they look like Bratz dolls, and I didn't buy them and now my daughter is past that stage--thankfully!
So many good links this week! I want to go to a meet-cute event at a bookstore! What a great idea. Also love the picking out a signature something in various different categories. So smart. Similar to the Lazy Genius principle "decide once", and maybe even better, since these choices would theoretically stand the test of time.
Now, for the American Girls. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!! Now, I love the original hostorical dolls (I had Samantha, Addy, and Josefina growing up) and their stories. What is the point of "modernizing" these characters that are supposed to be of a specific time and place. Also they look like Bratz dolls. Not ok!! My niece has some My Generation dolls that are similar to the AG dolls. I will continue to buy pieces from that line for her.
I can’t wait for launch day and all the reveals!! Also, those chicken tacos sound so easy!! Adding it to my list of go to meals!
