Sunday Scroll #125
What happens when your life goes viral on Netflix? Plus, cozy life upgrades: saving cash, living analog, + homemade hot chocolate.
Good morning! Hope you’re staying warm and dry this Sunday.
Right now it’s pretty soggy in Pensacola (no snow for us!). But if you’re dealing with lots of snow and ice—PS, Minnesota, my heart is with you—I’m saying a little prayer for your safety. Hope your day is filled with clear roads, maybe some sledding, and a mug of hot chocolate or two.
In the meantime, I think it’s time to grab a throw blanket, hop on the couch, and go for a scroll.
To find more friends, we hosted Saturday dinners once a year. Here’s how it went. Speaking of connecting, how cool is this? These are two keys to connection: lowering the barrier to entry, and consistency. I’d love to try this!
Cooking is hard. Here’s how 12 different people try to make it easier for themselves. This far into January, when we’re back in the hum-drum of routine, this is the content I need.
8 small steps to live a more analog life. I’m thinking about this now more than ever. AI is a clever tool, and I’m trying to keep it that way—a tool I reach for in a certain time and place. The rest of the time? I want to think critically. I want to create. And I want to connect. I’m hearing about people turning to #3 and #4 more than I have in a long time!
Showing up for people who don’t show up for themselves. Oof, this is such a hard thing.
