I’m a little more tan than I was last Sunday, because I tagged along on Bryan’s work trip to Aruba! Did I work a little? Yes. Did I relax in the sun and fall asleep in the warm sand reading a book? Also yes. 10/10 reading and napping experience—I wouldn’t change a thing.

10 ways I show up for myself when I’m exhausted. I dunno about you, but even though we’re back to our regular lives, I find January to be much more relaxing than the holidays. I can feel my body coming down from the overstimulation of the holidays. Toss in surgical menopause and, well, I’m tired. This is a great list for those of us who need to go about our lives a little more slowly and softly.
Jennifer Garner journals a lot. This is the thread she found weaving through each of them. This put tears in my eyes. She is the best human.
A break from your smartphone can reboot your mood. Here’s how long you need. Keeping this tab open when I inevitably need it (multiple times) this week.
Put this on our weeknight dinner rotation: roasted sweet potato stacks with chipotle sauce. How good does this look?? Extra avocado on mine, pls. 🥑
Also: I kinda want to make this 20-minute black bean soup on the side. 4 ingredients + a couple of spices. Even I could handle that!
