On mental health, medication, and hope

This post has been on my heart to write for about two years. I was just never sure how to put the words together. But last night, as I sat holding my little candle amidst complete darkness, with my oldest baby by my side, at my church’s Easter Vigil service, I felt the words come together. This essay is about hope. It’s about light chasing away darkness. It’s about having faith in science, medicine, and in a God who has His hand in all of it.
