Is it just me or has 2026 been exactly twelve months long already and also barely two weeks? Somehow it’s nearly April. March was a lot — in the best way. We became a lacrosse family. Took a family trip to Aspen over Spring Break. Brady got his driver’s permit (I’ll get to that). Simplified launched its first Travel Collection. I’ve been working on a book proposal in the fringe hours. And I spent a significant chunk of the month building new AI-powered systems for data analysis and presentation.

We visited three grand openings in Pensacola this weekend — all women-owned. ALK Designs (make-your-own charm jewelry), Noteworthy (hand-painted artwork and more), and Paradise Needlepoint (everything you need for your new analog hobby).

I’m slowly emerging from a season of deep, deep work. I love and loathe those seasons in equal measure — but last Saturday was the perfect way to close out the month.
