Coming home to yourself
Reflecting on the good, the bad, and the ugly of 2023.
At Thanksgiving dinner, my brother-in-law said that 2023 can kick rocks.
“Retweet,” I remarked, without looking up from my mashed potatoes.
It’s been a year. In fact, I can’t remember another year that felt so… blurry. There were some really great parts. And there were a lot of downs. Some I shared. Some, I didn’t. Altogether, they were a lot.
I look back at the last nearly twelve months and see two totally different journeys that happened concurrently: one full of fun and memory-making, the other… ugh.
